In early September 2022, Pastor Gene Miller experienced what was thought to be a 'slight stroke'.  After more testing, imaging and a biopsy, he was diagnosed with lymphoma of the brain. At the end of October he began receiving chemo in Dansville NY and also at the Wilmot Cancer Center at Strong in Rochester, NY.  Before Christmas, an MRI was done which showed that the treatments had not been effective.  In early January the decision was made to begin hospice. On Friday, January 6, 2023 at 10:15 pm with his family at his side, Gene ran into heaven.

Gene Miller was ordained in January 1977 and served as assistant pastor till December 1989 and then head pastor till January 1, 2023.
